THE REGENT'S PARK
Cooper's Guide to Royal NW1, part of the W1-NW1-NW8 triangle of walks.
OVERVIEW
A park for everyone. One of London’s eight Royal Parks, named after the Prince Regent, later King George IV, the park is as much famed for the roses of the Queen Mary Gardens, as it is for the Open Air Theatre and London Zoo. From Royal hunting ground to neoclassical terraces, this leisurely walk also takes in a stretch of The Regent’s Canal and Primrose Hill, and is an ideal overview to allow you to further explore its approximate 400 acres of formal gardens, open spaces, wildlife and lakes.
